CalMutuals’ advocacy program encompasses three key components:
• Professional government relations experts
• An extensive statewide grassroots network
• CalMutuals Political Action Committee (PAC)
The CalMutuals PAC was established to raise funds from California’s mutual water companies and utilize these funds to support elected officials, candidates, or initiatives that best recognize our industry in California.
The CalMutuals PAC is registered with the state of California (PAC ID# 1363932).
The CalMutuals PAC maintains its own financial and legal independence, and is controlled by its Board of Directors. The CalMutuals Board of Directors is the oversight committee and works in conjunction with staff.
