EPA’s Water Security Division, along with Golden State Water Company will be discussing CBWR's role in assisting drinking water and wastewater utilities, and the communities they serve, in increasing resiliency to water interruptions from all hazards. Golden State Water Company has taken several steps to increase community resilience by better safeguarding water services, including a proactive approach to Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events, increased coordination with the energy sector, and expanded customer outreach.
