The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that by 2024 a quarter of the U.S. workforce will be over the age of 55, with one-third aged 65 or older. Statistics show work-related employee injuries for the over 65 demographic tend to be more serious, more costly and result in greater time away from work. In this webinar, you’ll learn about the different needs of older workers and how to develop strategies that link the impacts of aging employees to the design of an organization’s facilities and operations.   This session covers: Physical and cognitive changes in the aging population that influence employee work capacity Work modifications to help meet the changing capacity of an aging work force Interventions to help older employees stay in the workplace
